Fundraising

The fees and grants cover the staff wages, insurance and rental of the Cathodeon Centre. Toys, equipment, parties, materials for sessions are all extra costs and are paid for by fundraising events. We try to raise at least £1500 each year. This year we would like to do more work in the garden, fund the children's Christmas party, pay for an end of year outing, as well as maintaining the playgroup equipment.

Everyone who has a child at playgroup needs to think about how they can help with the fundraising efforts. The answer to requests for help is frequently met with 'I haven't got time'. We are all busy; if you wish you child to continue to have a fantastic garden in which to play and fun, imaginative equipment and materials, as well as the parties that they enjoy so much, you ALL need to give a little of your time.
